The Tunbridge Wells Ladies kicked off their league with a great performance against Sheppey winning 39-5, showing early signs of the hard work and progress made over the summer months.
Head Coach Simon shared his thoughts on the performance:
"I'm really pleased with the way the team came together today from a nervous look earlier in the week. The attitude was right and the passion was there. The inclusion of the borrowed players worked really well and strong team work shone through. Not as easy as the score showed, but solid defence backed up the work in attack and made for a good day to be a coach."
Assistant Coach Alex also reflected on the win:
"A great win for the Ladies and a great first game to start the season off. I think they really pulled together as a team, and these past few months of hard work at training are really paying off."
